Age Concern Forest of Dean is an independently constituted member of the Age Concern federation, registered Charity number 1019011 and a Company limited by guarantee.

We are affiliated to Age Concern England  and Age Concern Gloucestershire. We operate within the general principles of Age Concern, meet their Quality Standards and have the benefit of their support and guidance when needed.

We are responsible for raising all our own funds to finance the work we do within the Forest of Dean and the services provided are determined by our Management Committee, comprising local people giving their time and expertise freely supported by a team of local staff and volunteers. This independence ensures that all our resources are spent on satisfying local needs.
